Basketball Recap: Oak Grove Classical Academy Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Oak Grove Classical Academy took on Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy on Monday. The Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls were outmatched by the Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy Eagles and fell 43-16. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 51-21 defeat last Tuesday.

Oak Grove Classical Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season. Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-12 record this season.

Oak Grove Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy, they will face off against Jemez Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jemez Valley will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
