Baseball Recap: Bentley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Making Waves Academy on Tuesday, Bentley came back down to earth. The Phoenix came up short against the Brave Christian Lions on Friday, falling 10-0. Considering the last time the Phoenix couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

Bentley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Grossman, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. The Phoenix are 4-2 when Grossman posts two or more stolen bases, but 4-7 otherwise.

Bentley now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Brave Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 22-0-1.

As of now, neither Bentley nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
