With a playoff win on the line, Arcata rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Fortuna Huskies. The win was familiar territory for Arcata, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Kai MacDonald and Windston Stratton scored both of Arcata's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Arcata's record is now 15-2-5. As for Fortuna, their loss dropped their record down to 19-2-2.

Looking ahead, Arcata will square off against Head-Royce at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Arcata will need to watch out since Head-Royce have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests. Fortuna does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
