Basketball Recap: Danville Takes a Loss

Danville fought the good fight in their overtime game against Williamsport on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 55-45 to the Williamsport Millionaires. The Ironmen were not able to make up for their loss to the Millionaires from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Danville has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 16 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. As for Williamsport, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-14.

Danville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Williamsport, they will head out on the road to take on State College at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. State College will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Williamsport surely won't give up without a fight.
