2025 Utah Preseason MaxPreps Top 25 high school football rankings

Corner Canyon looks for sixth state title in the past eight seasons behind senior quarterback Helaman Casuga.

The high school football season in Utah kicks off this month and we have your look at the state's top teams. Corner Canyon (Draper) owns the No. 1 spot in the Preseason MaxPreps Top 25 after winning the 6A state championship last fall.

The Chargers, who have won five state titles since 2018, begin the season ranked No. 19 nationally after going 13-1 in 2024.

Seniors Esun Tafa (6-4, 205, IOL, USC commitment), Helaman Casuga (6-2, 220, QB, Texas A&M), Kai Meza (6-0, 185, WR, Minnesota) and Isaiah Morris (5-10, 160, WR) lead the way for Corner Canyon.

In addition to Corner Canyon, defending state champions include Bountiful in 5A, Crimson Cliffs (Washington) in 4A, Morgan in 3A, San Juan (Blanding) in 2A and Beaverin 1A.
