Soccer Game Preview: San Pasqual vs. Rancho Bernardo

San Pasqual is 0-8 against Rancho Bernardo since January of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The San Pasqual Golden Eagles will look to defend their home pitch against the Rancho Bernardo Broncos at 6:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, San Pasqual came up short against Escondido and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Rancho Bernardo entered their tilt with Ramona on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They never let the Bulldogs onto the board and left with a 6-0 win. Considering the Broncos have won eight matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Rancho Bernardo's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five games. As for San Pasqual, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.
