Sequoyah won the last time they faced Cherokee and things went their way on Friday too. The Chiefs skirted past the Warriors 5-3.

Sequoyah has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Cherokee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-12 record this season.

Sequoyah will venture away from home to take on Kell at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cherokee, they will challenge North Paulding at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday.
