Basketball Recap: Orange Glen Comes Up Short

Orange Glen's game on Thursday was all tied up 17-17 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 35-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coastal Academy Stingrays. The loss continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Stingrays: they've now lost three in a row.

Coastal Academy found their leader in sophomore Addi Smith, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards. Faith Sega was another key player, putting up six points and five steals.

Orange Glen's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Coastal Academy, their record is now 7-2.

Orange Glen didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 29-24 loss against Horizon Prep on the 13th. As for Coastal Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 39-14 victory against Bonsall on the 9th.
