Baseball Recap: Gilmer Comes Up Short

Gilmer lost to Ridgeland on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bobcats fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 8-7. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Gilmer's loss dropped their record down to 13-17. As for Ridgeland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-18.

As of now, neither Gilmer nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
