Soccer Recap: Galileo Wins Going Away Against O'connell

After failing to score in their last match, Galileo made sure to put some goals up on the board against O'Connell on Friday. They blew past the O'Connell Boilermakers 6-1. That five goal margin sets a new team best for the Lions this season.

They hit O'Connell with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Isabela Blandino (2), Caitlyn Junus (2), and Kristel Velasquez (2).

Galileo's win bumped their record up to 4-1-1. As for O'Connell, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Galileo will host Burton at 3:30 p.m. on January 31st. As for O'Connell, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Galileo at 3:30 p.m. on February 12th.
