Volleyball Recap: Flowing Wells Caballeros vs. Sunnyside Blue Devils
Flowing Wells was the 2-0 winner over Sunnyside when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Flowing Wells took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sunnyside on Saturday. The Caballeros have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Daniel Coronado paced Flowing Wells' offense, picking up four kills. Coronado got some help from Chris Anaya-Ashe and his ten assists.
Flowing Wells' loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Sunnyside, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.
Flowing Wells didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Cholla on the 25th. As for Sunnyside, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Mica Mountain on the 22nd.
