Soccer Recap: Seckinger Takes a Loss

Seckinger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 6-1 to the Gainesville Red Elephants. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 341st, while the Red Elephants are ranked 58th).

Seckinger's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Gainesville, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Seckinger has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Chattahoochee on the 14th. As for Gainesville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, an 8-1 victory against Whitefield Academy on the 14th.
