Football Recap: Strong Effort on D from Colt Erdos and Cooper Evans Leads Boys Latin over Severna Park + How To Watch

It was close, but on Friday the Boys Latin Lakers sidestepped the Severna Park Falcons for a 9-6 win.

Boys Latin didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Colt Erdos and Cooper Evans. Another thorn in Severna Park's side was Blake Griffith, who picked up two sacks, forced one fumble, and made seven total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Boys Latin's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boys Latin will take on Long Island Lutheran at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Severna Park, they will challenge Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
