Soccer Recap: Discovery Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Discovery's offense. They fell just short of the Sotomayor Wolves by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday.

Discovery's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sotomayor, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Discovery will venture away from home to take on Magnolia Science Academy Van Nuys at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. The contest will give Discovery their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Sotomayor, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Robert F. Kennedy Community at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
