Softball Recap: Milton Snags Seventh Victory in Last Eight Games + How To Watch

Milton had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Chamblee on Wednesday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Bulldogs. With that win, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Sophia Kirby was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Bre Tyldesley, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Milton is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Chamblee, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
