Soccer Recap: Pacifica Christian Comes Up Short

Pacifica Christian entered their contest against Fairmont Prep on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Pacifica Christian Tritons fell just short of the Fairmont Prep Huskies by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Tritons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 340th, while the Huskies are ranked 109th).

Pacifica Christian's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7-2. As for Fairmont Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2-3 record this season.

Pacifica Christian will face off against Western Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fairmont Prep, they are taking a road trip to face off against The Webb Schools at 3:15 p.m. on January 31st.
