Football Recap: St. Raphael Academy Saints vs. Coventry Oakers
St. Raphael Academy took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They strolled past the Coventry Oakers with points to spare, taking the game 33-14. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Saints also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2015.
St. Raphael Academy found their leader in underclassman Tashaad Brown, who threw for 119 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 36 yards. The dominant performance gave Brown a new career-high in rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Armand Northup-Reed, who picked up 55 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
