Football Recap: Sage Hill Takes a Loss

If Sage Hill was feeling good fresh off their 42-16 takedown of Cate last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lightning and the Chadwick Dolphins were almost perfectly matched up on Thursday, but the Lightning suffered a 28-27 defeat. The Lightning were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dolphins apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Chadwick's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Benjamin Wandrick, who rushed for 137 yards. Wandrick also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing one fumble and making six total tackles. Another big playmaker for Chadwick was Ezekiel Robel, who returned a punt for a touchdown.

Sage Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Chadwick, their record now sits at 6-3.

As of now, neither Sage Hill nor the Dolphins have any future games scheduled.
