Softball Recap: Chouteau-Mazie Takes a Loss

If Chouteau-Mazie was riding high fresh off their 14-6 takedown of Ketchum on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats came up short against the Warner Eagles on Monday, falling 12-1. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

Chouteau-Mazie's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Warner, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Chouteau-Mazie by a score of 9-1 on Tuesday.
