Volleyball Recap: Williams Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Williams lost against Mogollon back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Mustangs. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Mogollon scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Williams saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lily Weatherhead had eight digs and five aces.

Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Mogollon, with the win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 9-14.

Williams didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against El Capitan on the 17th. As for Mogollon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Joseph City on the 17th.
