Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roswell). They blew past the Lanier Longhorns 18-3 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Longhorns: they've now won three in a row.

Roswell pushed their record up to 15-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Lanier, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.

Coming up, Roswell will host Seckinger at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Roswell's pitchers better be ready for this one: Seckinger has averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season. As for Lanier, they are taking a road trip to face off against Milton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Milton will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Lanier surely won't give up without a fight.
