Soccer Recap: Gunderson Takes a Loss

Gunderson lost against Lincoln back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Gunderson Grizzlies came up short against the Lincoln Lions, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1109th, while the Lions are ranked 542nd).

Gunderson is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13. As for Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gunderson will take on Prospect at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln, they will square off against Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln is facing Independence at the right time seeing as Independence is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
