Bishop Carroll suffers fifth straight loss on the road

The Bishop Carroll Huskies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 71-40 defeat at the hands of Forest Hills. Bishop Carroll has struggled against Forest Hills recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Forest Hills got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Arissa Britt out in front who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten assists. That's the first time this season that Britt posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Alexis Henderson, who scored 21 points.

Bishop Carroll's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-8. As for Forest Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Carroll's road trip will continue as they head out to face Somerset at 7:15 p.m. on January 15th. As for Forest Hills, they will square off against Penn Cambria at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Penn Cambria is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 51.7 points per game.
