 New Creation Christian Academy never got on the board in their matchup on Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Grace Christian Academy on Monday. They put the hurt on the EAGLES with a sharp  12-2 victory.
  Chase Jones was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He  pitched five innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   three  hits (he also only allowed one  walk). Jones has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  a single  walk in four consecutive pitching appearances. Jones was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while going 2-for-2.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Cooper Kelley, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Nolan Hyde, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-2.
 New Creation Christian Academy's win  ended  a  four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 3-12. As for Grace Christian Academy, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost four of their last five matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record  this season.
