Baseball Game Preview: Westminster Christian Academy Lions vs. Edmund Burke Academy Spartans

It was a proper cat-fight when Westminster Christian Academy duked it out with Thomas Jefferson Academy on Thursday. Westminster Christian Academy came out on top against Thomas Jefferson Academy by a score of 6-2.

Chisholm wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was William Greene, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Dailey Orr was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Edmund Burke Academy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Lions as they made off with a 10-2 victory. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.

The win got Westminster Christian Academy back to even at 6-6. As for Edmund Burke Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.
