Basketball Game Preview: Dixon Rams vs. Wood Wildcats + Official Tickets

The Dixon Rams will square off against the Wood Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Dixon is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since January 21st on Saturday. They were dealt a 60-20 loss at the hands of Sonoma Valley. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Wood faced off against West Park on Tuesday. The Wildcats took a 43-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Dixon will have to contain Tyrene Palmer as she made an impact in Wood's last game. She posted ten points.

Wood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Dixon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Dixon took a serious blow against Wood when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 70-26. Thankfully for the Rams, Natalia Sanchez (who shot 65% from the field on her way to 25 points along with six assists and six steals) won't be suiting up this time.
