Soccer Game Preview: Findlay vs. Anthony Wayne

The Findlay Trojans will head out on the road to square off against the Anthony Wayne Generals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Findlay is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Findlay came up short against Springfield and fell 4-2. While losing is never fun, Findlay can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 306th, while Springfield are ranked 34th).

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Anthony Wayne was not quite Southview's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1.

Findlay's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Anthony Wayne, they now have a losing record of 5-6-1.

Findlay might still be hurting after the 4-0 loss they got from Anthony Wayne when the teams last played on September 2nd. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
