Softball Recap: Bennington Takes a Loss

Bennington's last matchup with Elkhorn could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Saturday. The Badgers lost 12-1 to the Antlers. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Badgers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Bennington's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Elkhorn, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-11.

Looking ahead, Bennington will take on Gretna East at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elkhorn, they will challenge Skutt Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Antlers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the SkyHawks have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season.
