Soccer Game Preview: Kennedy vs. Moreau Catholic

The Kennedy Titans will head out to challenge the Moreau Catholic Mariners at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kennedy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.1 goals per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Kennedy didn't have quite enough to beat Newark Memorial and fell 2-1. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Annaliese Merel, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Moreau Catholic was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against American, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Mariners in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost nine in a row.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Moreau Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.

Everything went Kennedy's way against Moreau Catholic when the teams last played back in January, as Kennedy made off with a 6-3 win. In that game, Kennedy amassed a halftime lead of 4-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
