Softball Recap: Lambert Longhorns vs. East Forsyth Broncos
Lambert came out on top against East Forsyth on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fourth inning. The Longhorns took their match against the Broncos 7-2. For the Longhorns, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Broncos walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Faith Doolen made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Doolen was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.
