Purchase Line has struggled against the Wolves recently, as their match on Wednesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Purchase Line's loss came despite strong showings from Brooklyn Syster and Anna Layden. Syster scored 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Layden scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Katie Weaver was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Purchase Line's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-14. As for West Shamokin, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-12.
