Softball Recap: West Forsyth Gets the Win

While West Forsyth put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Forsyth Central. The Wolverines walked away with a 5-0 victory over the Bulldogs. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 20-12 victory on Tuesday.

Not much got past Elizabeth Bare, who gave up just two hits to keep Forsyth Central off the board.

On the hitting side, Tenley Lynch was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Rylee Ferguson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

West Forsyth hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in six consecutive contests.

The win got West Forsyth back to even at 15-15. As for Forsyth Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-21-1.

As of now, neither West Forsyth nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
