Football Recap: Tristan Trebules Key Part of Team Effort in Rockets Win + How To Watch

The Richard Montgomery Rockets got the win against the Magruder Colonels on Thursday by a conclusive 44-19. The Rockets pushed the score to 38-12 by the end of the third, a deficit the Colonels cut but never quite recovered from.

Richard Montgomery's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tristan Trebules, who rushed for 158 yards and three scores while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and also caught one TD. Dylan Webster was another key player, having thrown for 269 yards and three touchdowns.

Richard Montgomery now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Magruder, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Richard Montgomery and Magruder will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Rockets are set to square off against their familiar foe Clarksburg at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Magruder will take on rival Rockville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
