Soccer Recap: Banneker Comes Up Short

The Banneker Trojans lost 11-1 to the Landmark Christian War Eagles on Tuesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Trojans were already down 7-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Elvis Amponsah, which was the first he's scored this season.

Banneker's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Landmark Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Banneker will be playing at home against McIntosh at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Landmark Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Whitewater at 6:00 p.m. on February 25th.
