Football Recap: West Franklin Takes a Loss

West Franklin lost against Mission Valley back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons took a blow against the Vikings, falling 55-24.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chandler Scott, who rushed for 103 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 61 yards and one TD.

Mission Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jake Mills led the charge by throwing for 146 yards and four TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushing for 48 yards and a pair of scores. Those 48 rushing yards gave Mills a new career-high. Darrell Garza was another key player, gaining 168 total yards and a touchdown.

West Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mission Valley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
