Softball Recap: Cook Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Cook never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Worth County Rams as they made off with a 7-0 victory. Considering the Hornets have won nine contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Cook's third in a row) raised their record to 11-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 7.7 runs. As for Worth County, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cook will challenge Tift County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Worth County, they will square off against Thomasville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
