The New Covenant Christian Flames  will take on the Lancaster County Christian Lions at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. New Covenant Christian will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
Last Friday, New Covenant Christian blew past Harrisburg Academy, posting  a  42-15 win. The Flames  have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten  contests by 20  points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead New Covenant Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Miracle Hershey, who  went 7 of 12  to rack up 15  points in addition to eight  boards and eight  steals. Hershey continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Qynne Demler, who  went 7 for 16  on her way to 19 points and four  steals.
 New Covenant Christian  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 13  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive boards in five consecutive  games.
Lancaster County Christian has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were five  points away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   36-31 heartbreaker at the hands of Greenwood.
 New Covenant Christian will have to contain  Alicia Fisher as she made an impact in Lancaster County Christian's last game. She  went 7 of 17  en route to 15  points and five  rebounds. That was a full 48.4% of Lancaster County Christian's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's   posted  more than a third of the team's points.
 New Covenant Christian's victory was  their seventh straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 16-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points over those games. As for Lancaster County Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.
Keep an eye on the arc in  Monday's  match:  New Covenant Christian has been dynamite from deep this season,  having  made 34.3% of their  three-pointers per game. It's a different story for Lancaster County Christian, though, as  they've  only  made 17.4% of their  threes this season. Given New Covenant Christian's sizable advantage in that area, Lancaster County Christian will need to find a way to close that gap.
