Soccer Game Preview: Pasadena vs. Maranatha

The Pasadena Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Maranatha Minutemen at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pasadena is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Pasadena is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Monrovia just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They and the Wildcats finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Bulldogs' first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Alyssa Yepez, who's now up to six this season.

Meanwhile, Maranatha kept a clean sheet against Glendale on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 5-0 margin over the Nitros. That's two games straight that the Minutemen have won by exactly five goals.

Maranatha has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four games. With that draw, Pasadena's record moves to 3-0-1.
