Soccer Recap: Riverbank Takes a Loss

Riverbank was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to the Big Valley Christian Lions. The game was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for the Bruins it sure didn't stay that way.

Riverbank's loss dropped their record down to 1-18-1. As for Big Valley Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverbank will host Calaveras at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Big Valley Christian, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Summerville at 4:00 p.m. Summerville will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Big Valley Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
