Softball Recap: Arvada West Takes a Loss

Arvada West lost against Chatfield back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Arvada West saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgan Farr, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Another was Lena Guyer, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

Arvada West's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Chatfield, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-10.

Arvada West didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-1 victory against Bear Creek on the 22nd. As for Chatfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-2 win against D'Evelyn on the 19th.
