King/Drew is 5-0 against Fremont since December of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The King/Drew Golden Eagles will welcome the Fremont Pathfinders at 4:00 p.m. After both made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.

King/Drew will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 18 points on Saturday, then bounced right back against GALA on Wednesday. King/Drew claimed a resounding 67-27 win over GALA. The Golden Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fremont). They breezed by Dorsey to the tune of 61-11 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Pathfinders have posted since December 2, 2024.

Fremont found their leader in sophomore Isis Gates, who posted 25 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Gates has scored at least a third of Fremont's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Janaea Carpenter, who had 14 points.

The win made it two in a row for Fremont and bumps their season record up to 9-6. As for King/Drew, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.

Everything came up roses for King/Drew against Fremont in their previous matchup on January 15th, as the team secured a 61-8 win. Does King/Drew have another victory up their sleeve, or will Fremont turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
