After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Crisp County, Macon County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Bulldogs who were credited with the victory. Their winning goal came courtesy of Izzak Garcia.

Macon County was without their leading scorer, Ifechukwu Anagbogu, in Thursday's match. With Anagbogu sidelined, the Bulldogs had to make some changes to the lineup. D'Carlos Lopez played for 80 minutes having averaged 25 this season and Lavoris Smith got 80 vs. an average of 52.5.

Macon County now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Hawkinsville, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

As of now, neither Macon County nor the Red Devils have any future games scheduled.
