Football Recap: Columbia Piles Up the Points Against Harmony School of Innovation

Columbia got themselves on the board against Harmony School of Innovation on Friday, but Harmony School of Innovation never followed suit. They blew past the Wildcats, posting a 71-0 victory. The Roughnecks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Cade Thoe was his usual excellent self, throwing for 210 yards and four TDs while completing 87.5% of his passes. Isaiah Williams was in the mix as well, providing Columbia with three scores.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 15 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Luke Breazeale, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Columbia's defense and their four sacks. Leading the way was Easton Danford with two.

The win got Columbia back to even at 3-3. As for Harmony School of Innovation, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Columbia will venture away from home to face off against Royal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Harmony School of Innovation, they will head out to challenge La Marque at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
