13 must be Carver's lucky number: they beat KIPP Atlanta Collegiate with that score not once but twice on Wednesday. The Panthers walked away with a 13-9 victory over the Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-12 on Wednesday.

The win made it two in a row for Carver and bumps their season record up to 2-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Carver and KIPP Atlanta Collegiate will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games.
