Softball Recap: Cross Creek's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Cross Creek entered their tilt with Baldwin on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Braves with a sharp 11-2 victory. For the Razorbacks, this counts as revenge for the 15-12 win the Braves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Paityn Oglesby made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
