Football Recap: Hays Starts off Right with Win over Derby + How To Watch

Hays had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They slipped by the Derby Panthers 22-21 on Friday. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 40-7 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Coming up, Hays will be playing at home against Choctaw at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Derby, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Haysville Campus on Friday.
