After flying high against Contra Costa Christian last Tuesday, Making Waves Academy came back down to earth. The Making Waves Academy Marlins fell 43-35 to the Skyline Titans on Tuesday. The Marlins' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Making Waves Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Skyline, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.
