Basketball Recap: Heritage Extends Winning Streak to Four

Heritage had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They had just enough and edged the University Red Devils out 51-49.

Heritage's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lily Wilright, who posted six points in addition to 17 boards and four steals. The dominant performance also gave Wilright a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Riley Bayot, who had eight points and six steals.

Heritage smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 17 consecutive matchups.
