Softball Game Preview: Centennial Knights vs. Lovett Lions + How To Watch

The Centennial Knights will venture away from home to face off against the Lovett Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Centennial's last matchup with Kell could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Knights came up short against the Longhorns, falling 8-0. The defeat was just more heartbreak for the Knights, who fell 5-3 when the teams last met back in August.

Meanwhile, Lovett fell victim to North Atlanta and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 12-0 to the Warriors. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Lovett saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Gallagher, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Lovett, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 6-8.
