Basketball Game Preview: Casa Roble Rams vs. Natomas Nighthawks

The Casa Roble Rams will square off against the Natomas Nighthawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Casa Roble lost 46-26 to El Camino on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Lydia Chechourka-Price, who posted seven points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Bailey Maloney, who earned seven points and 13 boards.

Even though they lost, Casa Roble smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as El Camino only pulled down eight offensive boards.

Meanwhile, Natomas had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They took down the Bruins 56-40.

Natomas pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Casa Roble, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.
